Tech enthusiasts, the wait is almost over! OnePlus has officially confirmed the launch of its next flagship – the OnePlus 15 5G. The smartphone is set to debut in China in October 2025, with a global and India launch likely to follow in January 2026. The company has already teased the device in a new Sand Storm colour variant, showcasing a premium design with an aluminium frame using industry-first micro-arc oxidation treatment. This unique technology creates a ceramic-like coating over metal, making the frame 3.4 times stronger than regular aluminium and 1.5 times tougher than titanium.
The rear panel features fibreglass, along with a redesigned camera module and a new Plus key, which is expected to control multiple shortcut functions. Under the hood, the OnePlus 15 5G will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with an upgraded cooling system for enhanced performance.
While the exact India launch date remains unconfirmed, expectations point towards an early 2026 release. As for pricing, the OnePlus 15 5G is likely to start between Rs 70,000 and Rs 75,000 in India, similar to the previous OnePlus 13 model.
With top-tier hardware, a stronger frame, and a refined flagship design, the OnePlus 15 5G is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated premium smartphones of next year.
